Kövér Expresses Sympathies Over Greece Forest Fire Victims

Hungarian House Speaker László Kövér has expressed his sympathies to the families of victims of the forest fires ravaging Greece since Monday, in a letter sent to his Greek counterpart Nikolaos Voutsis, the speaker’s office said.
Kövér said he was shocked to learn about the fires, which killed at least 79 and injured 187.
“On behalf of the Hungarian Parliament and myself, I would like to express our sincere condolences over the disaster hitting the Greek nation,” Kövér said.
