In Magyar Hírlap, Dániel Kacsoh describes the Swedish government as a bunch of ‘fans of multiculturalism’ and thus natural allies of the NGOs which promote mass immigration to Europe.
It is no wonder that the Stockholm government agrees with the European Commission, which sued Hungary in the European Court of Justice because of its recently adopted law on foreign funded NGOs.
Nevertheless, Kacsoh finds it highly unconventional for Sweden to take sides in court against another EU member country. He explains this with the threat the Swedish governing coalition is facing in the parliamentary elections this autumn.
Whatever the outcome of those elections, Kacsoh concludes, in the long run, forces which focus on security and ‘an authentic European identity’ are bound to overcome.
