Special 'Night Of The Zoos', 31 August

A national Zoos Night is scheduled for August 31, with 12 Hungarian zoos preparing varied special events for the occasion.
Budapest Zoo director Miklós Persányi told reporters on Thursday that zoos in Budakeszi, Debrecen, Győr, Jászberény, Kecskemét, Miskolc, Pécs, Poroszló, Szeged and Veresegyháza, as well as Budapest, will take part.
The Budapest Zoo will be open until midnight and programmes will be held at 23 locations, for instance elephant gymnastics.
Feeding of alligators and snakes will be possible at the Budapest Tropicarium.
