Art In English: Poster Cities Creative Course

This part-time Art Course is for those younger or older adults who after years of working in another career or building a family finally find the time to discover or pursue their real passion for art. It does not matter what level you are currently at. We start where you are. The atmosphere is light-hearted but we also get down to some serious work.
Creative thinking and giving birth to artworks is something everyone of us is capable of learning and doing. There is no need for extra talent, artistic skills or formal qualifications.
Through this program, applicants from diverse backgrounds can have a venue to explore and achieve their personal artistic desires and ambitions.
We take a look into 4 big, famous cities of the world: watching photos of them and discuss our own experiences - what are the attributes of each city, that makes them what they are, and how can we express all those knowledge visually.
We make A2 size posters, so each work will take 2 occasions. Like this we have time to work on the small details too. We use mixed media techniques, but if someone wants only to paint instead, its also possible.
1-2. London- limited colored tempera painting
3-4. Paris- black liner, colored ink, collage
5-6. New York - painting knife, acrylic paint and collage
7-8. Tokyo- calligraphy, indian ink, varnish and aquarelle
9-10. Budapest/or other chosen city - free choice of technique

Course fee:
10 occasions 65.000 HUF (in instalments: 35+30)
Paying by occasions: 8.000 HUF
