Gül Baba was an Ottoman-Turkish soldier-monk, that is a dervish, who arrived to Buda in the middle of the 16th century and he was buried outside the city limits of then where his honorary monument is also situated.
The Buda Castle Garden Bazaar might imply a marketplace near the Royal Palace, but its actual nature differs from its name.
