Péter Magyar, deputy leader and EP list-leading candidate of the Respect and Freedom (Tisza) party, said the Tisza party would prove to the Hungarian people that politics “can be beautiful, just and honest”.
Prime Minister Viktor Orbán told participants of the Peace March in Budapest on Saturday that giving up on peace meant "choosing to die for the cause of Ukraine", but "we do not want to shed blood for Ukraine, we will not go to war, and we will not die for somebody else on foreign soil", he said.
“The network interfering with Hungary’s 2022 parliamentary election from abroad is still active and is working towards escalation of the war in Ukraine,” the Sovereignty Protection Office said in a report released.
Péter Szijjártó, the foreign minister, has called Wednesday’s shooting of Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico “shocking and appalling”.
