Bicycle Road To Connect Győr - Lake Balaton

A Ft 1 billion bicycle road will be built connecting Győr and Lake Balaton, commissioner for an active Hungary Máriusz Révész announced in Gyulafirátót on Wednesday.

A 4.5km stretch between Gyulafirátót and Eplény will first be constructed for Ft 120 million, of which the government will pay Ft 80 million and the state forestry company Veszprémi Erdőgazdaság Ft 40 million. The road construction will then continue towards Zirc.

The entire road connecting Győr to the lake will be completed by the end of next year, Révész underlined.
