Forint Hits New Low Against Euro, Down Versus Dollar
The forint weakened against the euro on the interbank market on Tuesday morning to a new record low of 337.2.

The previous record was set in September at 336.3.

Later in the afternoon, the Hungarian currency was trading at 336.1.

The forint also lost ground against the dollar, as one dollar bought Ft 306, up from Ft 305 one day earlier.

Technically, indicators still point to a weakening of the currency, brokerage Equilor wrote in its daily note, adding that the 340 level may be tested.
