Digi Keeps AMC Channels In Late Deal In Hungary

Cable television and telecom company Digi agreed with AMC on keeping all of the content provider’s channels for another year at 9 p.m. on December 31, Index reports.
According to earlier news, market leader Digi was reluctant to renew its contract with AMC that expired at the end of 2019.
As a result, it was ready to drop AMC channels Film Cafe, Film Mania, Minimax, Spektrum, Spektrum Home, Sport1, Sport2 and TV Paprika.
Digi was hardest to convince on continuing with Sport1 and Sport2, because they are more expensive than other channels.
