Hungarians Spend Most Time In Hospital, Among EU Patients
Hungarian patients spend an average of 9.8 days in hospitals, the highest figure among EU member states, according to a Eurostat report based on 2017 data.

Just behind Hungary is the Czech Republic with 9.6 days, followed by France with 9.1 days, on average.

In contrast, Dutch patients spent 4.5 days in hospital, on average, Bulgarians 5.3 days, and Danes 5.5 days, the lowest figures in the EU.
