Mangalica Festival In Budapest, 7 – 9 February
The 13th annual Mangalica Festival - a special Hungarian pig feast - takes place in the heart of Budapest in the 5th district at Szabadság Square. Admission is free.

This gastronomic event is all about the curly-haired mangalica pig, a Hungarian heritage breed, which came close to extinction just a few decades ago.

You can taste a variety of products, mainly sausages and salamis, made from mangalica meat, which is said to be more flavorful and healthier than regular pork.

Date and time:
10 – 12 February, 9 am – 7 pm

Venue:
1054 Budapest, Szabadság tér
