Legendary conductors; international soloists from Alaska to the Caucasus Mountains; young talents; a new children’s opera and more song than one can imagine. The Budapest Festival Orchestra has published its program for the 2026-2027 season. Season passes for the general public go on sale March 31; single ticket sales begin April 29.
The program for the 8th Russian Music Festival, running in Debrecen and Budapest from March 12 to 26, spans monumental concertos, songs, and four-handed piano pieces.
This year's Bach for All Festival will take place at more than 300 venues in Hungary and beyond, offering over 500 programmes between March 16 and 31.
Hungarian Culture Day will now span an entire week and adopt a distinct identity, unifying events across the Carpathian Basin, Magdolna Zavogyán, state secretary for culture, said at a press conference in the Hungarian National Museum.
