Three Bears Sighted In Cemetery Northeast Of Budapest

Two women spotted three bears in the cemetery in Petőfibánya near 7 a.m. Wednesday morning, mayor Péter Juhász confirmed.

The mayor notified civil guards, police and hunters.

He asked residents of the town 70km northeast of Budapest to avoid the vicinity of the cemetery.

A female bear with her cubs appeared several times in the neighbourhood in recent months and their traces were recently found in nearby Pásztó.
