HUF Nears All-Time Low Against Euro
The forint exchange rate is hovering only 1% above its all-time weakest position of Ft 369.5 to the euro, reached in the spring, Portfolio observed.

Trading opened at over Ft 366 to the euro but had strengthened slightly to Ft 365.5 by late afternoon.

The koruna meanwhile stagnated as the Czech government introduced a state of emergency on Wednesday.

The zloty strengthened by 1.4%, possibly as a result of the Polish prime minister saying Poland’s GDP drop for 2020 could be less than 3.5% on Monday.
