10,000 Tonnes Of Illegal Waste Removed In Hungary
As part of the Climate and Nature Conservation Action Plan, the most involved actors in the program (MÁV Zrt., Magyar Közút Nonprofit Zrt., forestry companies, national park directorates, the National Water Directorate and eight settlements), have eliminated more than 10,000 tonnes of illegal waste in recent months according to a statement from the Ministry for Innovation and Technology, writes novekedes.hu.

Some 700 employees of MÁV's collected 3.5 tonnes of illegal waste in one week.

MÁV has transported more than 1,000 tonnes of waste in total, and will clean another 29 sites in the first quarter of 2021.

Magyar Közút Nonprofit Zrt. transported about 800 tonnes and another 460 sqm of illegal waste, while another eight sites are scheduled for this year.
