The government has adopted further proposals by the body in charge of measures to restart the economy, mostly concerning Hungary’s position in the international competition for investments, Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said on Wednesday.
The government has approved six proposals submitted by the operative board for coordinating the economic recovery, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó, who heads the body, said at a press conference.
Danish toy manufacturer Lego is investing 53 billion forints (EUR 149.6m) to expand its plant in Nyíregyháza, in northeast Hungary, Péter Szijjártó, the minister of foreign affairs and trade, said.
Hungary has jumped five places to rank 42nd in the report published by the Swiss IMD World Competitiveness Center, Finance Minister Mihály Varga said.
