Hungary Now Allows Unrestricted Entry For Business Travellers From 13 States
Hungary has lifted coronavirus-related restrictions on business travellers entering the country from 13 states, the government website said.

Citizens, or those holding a residency permit and travelling on business, from the United States, China, Russia, India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, South Korea, Turkey, Ukraine, Singapore, Bahrein or the United Arab Emirates will be allowed into Hungary without restrictions, kormany.hu said.

The foreign minister and the interior minister are also compiling a list of countries from which Hungarian citizens travelling on business will be able to return to Hungary without restrictions, kormany.hu said.

Prime Minister Orbán said last Friday that some were using business travel as a cover for holidays, and noted that  a person who had visited Zambia recently apparently brought the South African variant of the virus back to Hungary.

From now on, restrictions are eased only for business travellers arriving from the EU or European Economic Area countries, as well as the 13 states mention above.
