Budapest Uzsoki Hospital Resumes Accident & Emergency Care
Accident and emergency care at Uzsoki Hospital resumed at 8 a.m. on Monday after it was shut down last Wednesday night.

The 14th District hospital said on Facebook that the emergency patient care continues to operate “as usual”.

Hospital director Dr. Ferenc Tóth wrote in an internal letter last week that the hospital would not be able to perform emergency services until August 30, due to a shortage of doctors.

However, on Monday afternoon Human Resources Minister Miklós Kásler wrote on Facebook that he was informed in a discussion with the head of Uzsoki Hospital that the emergency department had managed to resolve the problem over the weekend, so patient care would continue at full capacity.
