Hungarian Opinion: Further Covid Restrictions Described as ‘Unnecessary’
A centrist commentator thinks that the government should lift all remaining restrictions, since vaccines are available for everyone in the country.

Those who decide not to get inoculated should bear the responsibility for their own fate.

On Azonnali, Márton Vági deems further Covid restrictions unnecessary in Hungary.

The centrist commentator points out that vaccines (including the third dose) are available for everyone, and so the government has no further role in protecting citizens.

Vági thinks that here is no reason why the government should continue to defend those who are unwilling to get the jab.

He takes it for granted that many of those who reject the vaccine will die, but he nonetheless thinks that life should return to normal, restrictions of basic rights should be lifted and individuals should take responsibility for their own decisions – even if they prove fatal.
