Celebrate a landmark double anniversary this June as the Budapest Wagner Days marks 150 years since the first complete Ring cycle and 20 years of Müpa Budapest’s world-renowned festival.

The festivities begin with a monumental performance of Parsifal, the very work that launched this "Wagnerian fiesta" two decades ago. The anniversary season features an all-star international cast bringing Hartmut Schörghofer’s acclaimed direction to life, all under the masterful baton of Ádám Fischer.

Audiences can expect a truly world-class lineup, including celebrated stars like Tomasz Konieczny, Magdalena Anna Hofmann, and Jürgen Sacher.

Adding to the prestige, the enchanting Finnish soprano Camilla Nylund joins forces with legendary pianist Helmut Deutsch for a refined recital featuring works by Wagner, Strauss, and Sibelius.

From the power of the Ring tetralogy to intimate lieder, this June offers a rare opportunity to experience the height of operatic passion and history.
