First Lady Draws Attention to Foundation that Helps Children Orphaned by Covid
Hungary’s First Lady has drawn attention to the fact that the proceeds of a fair held at the InterContinental hotel in Budapest will go to the Regőczi Foundation that helps children orphaned by Covid.

Anita Herczegh, who heads the foundation’s board of trustees, noted that the embassies of 25 countries are selling the specialties, handicrafts, food, drinks and souvenirs of their nation at the fair organised by the Budapest Association of Diplomatic Spouses. Also, traditional dances were performed at the event.

President János Áder and his wife established the Regőczi Foundation in 2021. It provides long-term care for children who have lost one or both parents in the pandemic.

The foundation is also supported by a public media charity campaign to be held for the 10th time this year.

By dialling 1357 or sending an SMS to the same number, the foundation will receive 500 forints per call.
