Quarantine Restrictions Eased in Hungary
The cabinet has reduced the time for quarantine obligation for those who contract the coronavirus to seven days from the current ten, Prime Minister’s Office leader Gergely Gulyás announced at this Thursday press conference.

Quarantine will end after five days if the patient tests negative for the virus.

Schoolchildren will have to go into quarantine for five days if a classmate is infected and schools can ensure online classes for them.

He expressed hope that as many five- to eleven-year-old children are vaccinated so that classes can continue.

Gulyás also announced that a fourth inoculation will be available for those who request it, following a consultation with a doctor.
