The new hotel, the first of this brand in Hungary, is expected to open next year in the Pösingermajor area of the 11th District in south Buda.

Patrick Fitzgibbon, the chain’s EMEA regional director, said the DoubleTree by Hilton brand is well positioned to meet owners’ demand for converted properties.

The DoubleTree by Hilton Budapest Buda Hills Hotel and Residences will be built by property developer and operator Rupphegyi, with which a franchise agreement has been signed.
