Urgent Help Needed for Hungarian Baptist Aid to Help Ukrainian Refugees
Hungarian Baptist Aid is preparing to care for internally displaced people arriving in Western Ukraine in the Ukrainian border region and are also ready to provide possible assistance to Ukraine.

The Baptist Relief Service started humanitarian aid on the first day of the war. Based on what we have seen in Ukraine and at the border, we are preparing for sustained relief on both sides of the border. Please support our work!

There is a great need for non-perishable foods, especially canned ready meals, canned meat, liver paste, pasta, bread with longer shelf-life, but also for cleaning products, aggregators, candles, blankets, sleeping bags or diapers and covid tests.

(Not the sugar, flour, oil type of non-perishables, but canned food that refugees can easily consume.)

Amid all the international criticism levelled at Hungary since the start of the war and accusations of "an anti-Ukraine policy", it is little appreciated that Hungary is the only European Union member state that has established and runs Ukrainian-language schools for refugee children living here, an official of the foreign ministry said.
