Enjoy Advent in Óbuda, 25 November – 23 December
In December, during Advent, people are already preparing for Christmas in body and soul, you can find small and large holiday fairs and related Advent programs all over the city.

It is no different in Óbuda: on the cobbled Fő tér and Szentlélek tér, which still preserves the turn-of-the-century atmosphere, you can admire one of the most beautiful Christmas markets in all of Budapest.

The center of Fő tér is decorated with an illuminated ice rink, which welcomes children and adults who want to skate free of charge. Around it, artisan stalls offer their high-quality portés, and on the Gastrosétány there is something for every taste to taste.

Mulled wine, trumpet cake and bread with flame are essential accessories for the Advent fair. One of the attractions of the Christmas fair is the unique Christmas tree made by Hello Wood, which can be admired both inside and outside.

The Fő tér vásár awaits visitors every day from the first weekend of Advent until December 23, who can see high-quality musical productions and performances in tune with the holiday from Friday to Sunday.

In anticipation of Christmas, the spaces in several parts of Óbuda are decorated in December. Not only on Fő tér, but also on Csobánka tér, there is an ice rink and a decorated Christmas tree.

The tastefully lit squares and streets, the special atmosphere of the decorated windows of Fő tér is a captivating sight. Those who once personally experienced the charm of Advent in Óbuda will surely return here.
