Which? Survey: Wizz Air is the “Worst Short-Haul Airline”
In the view of British travellers, Wizz Air is the “worst short-haul airline” according to a recent survey, the Guardian newspaper reports.

The Hungary-based airline received only 1 out of 5 stars in the categories of boarding experience, on-board environment and seat comfort.

The low-cost airline only got 2 stars in the value for money and cleanliness categories.

Wizz Air flies to eight British airports, including Birmingham, Edinburgh, Gatwick and Luton.

The British aviation authority said in December that it had “significant concerns” about Wizz Air’s “unacceptable” behaviour as its passengers were far more likely to make complaints than those of other carriers.

“The regulator also found that the airline was delaying paying money owed to passengers”, the Guardian added.

The survey, carried out by British consumer group Which? asked more than 8,000 British adults about their flying experiences in the preceding two years in October 2022.
