Expat CEO to Unexpectedly Leave Budapest Airport Job Early

Chris Dinsdale informed the shareholders of Budapest Airport at the beginning of the year that after more than seven years in senior management and almost two decades in Hungary, he will be taking up a new challenge in his native Canada. The shareholders of Budapest Airport respect the CEO’s decision and wish him all the best.
Chris Dinsdale has worked as CFO since 2015 and later also as deputy CEO, while finally as CEO since 2021 at the company operating Ferenc Liszt International Airport. He has played a major role in the airport winning the Skytrax “Best Airport in Eastern Europe” award several times and the “Best Airport in Europe” Award, announced by Airports Council International (ACI) today.
Chris Dinsdale’s work has contributed greatly to the development of the airport as a flagship of Hungarian tourism and a worthy gateway to Hungary.
He created and implemented Budapest Airport’s corporate strategy and launched and implemented projects related to quality and sustainability, which have elevated the position of the company at an international level.
