Facebook Still Favored Amongst Youth in Hungary

BeReal has exploded, TikTok is making progress, but Facebook is still the favorite of young people, according to a representative survey of 1,000 15 to 29-year-olds from the Youth Research Institute, writes profitline.hu.
Although BeReal is now being used by 10% of respondents, the penetration of the application is far behind the popularity of TikTok and Facebook.
TikTok is used by every second young person daily, and Facebook by eight out of 10.
It was noted that only 6% of young Hungarians do not use Facebook at all.
This platform is followed by YouTube and TikTok, both of which are used by young people in roughly the same proportion on a daily basis. However, in the case of TikTok, the proportion of people who have never used the application is more than twice as much at some 25%.
