Watch: Tightrope Success Across Danube In Budapest
A circus performer crossed over the Danube on a tightrope on Saturday afternoon in downtown Budapest, the first person ever to perform this stunt.

László Simet Jr., aged 63, walked for 300 metres on a 22-millimetre wire rope at a height of 30 metres from the Raoul Wallenberg rakpart near Gellért Hill on the Buda side to the Belgrád rakpart in Pest.

The stunt was arranged by the National Circus Arts Centre to promote the start of the International Theatre Olympics, on the occasion of World Circus Day.
