The final concert of Bowie's Ziggy Stardust persona was adapted into a film and released in 1979. Now, 50 years after the iconic show in 1973, a retouched version of the film premiered. And it is coming to cinemas for a short time. So here is your opportunity to celebrate Bowie's legacy!
The film also features Jeff Beck's performance, which was previously cut. The new and extended version offers an extra 13 minutes of footage to enhance the concert experience.
Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Lou Reed all hit the stage, and Ringo Starr also makes an appearance. Besides the theme song, expect to hear big classics such as Moonage Daydream, Time, Changes, or Space Oddity.
You can catch the film in four cinemas in town on 27-28 July: Pólus Mozi, Lurdy Mozi, Cinema MOM, and a GoBuda Mozi. Get tickets in advance on the Hungarian websites or on the spot.
