Highest Heat Alert Issued for Southern Counties in Hungary

The National Meteorological Service on Monday morning issued a highest-level heat alert for the southern counties of Bács-Kiskun, Csongrád-Csanád és Békés where the median temperature could reach 29°C.

Temperatures are forecast to reach 38°C in most places while they could reach 39°C in the south-east.
