Angelina Jolie to Film in Budapest Again Soon
US actress Angelina Jolie will portray world renowned opera singer Maria Callas in a movie to be shot in Budapest from the autumn, directed by Pablo Larrain.

Jolie wrote, directed and produced the movie In the Land of Blood and Honey in Budapest in 2010.

Filming of the new movie, entitled Maria, will take place in Budapest between October and December.

The Chilean director Larrain has previously directed films about women who played an important role in the 20th century, such as Princess Diana and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.

The new movie will focus on the opera singer’s last years, which she spent in Paris.
