The film starring Emma Stone and Mark Ruffalo and directed by Yorgos Lanthimos was almost entirely shot in Hungary.
The Oscar awards ceremony will be held in Hollywood on March 10.
Poor Things was filmed at Origo Studios in Budapest, and has been nominated in eleven Oscar categories in 2024, including Best Picture.
Brought back to life by an unorthodox scientist, a young woman runs off with a debauched lawyer on a whirlwind adventure across the continents.
Free from the prejudices of her times, she grows steadfast in her purpose to stand for equality and liberation.
