Home Sales Explode in Hungary

There were 10,754, homes sold in February, a 72% rise from a year earlier, when the housing market was in an abyss, according to an estimate by property agency Duna House released.
Home sales rose above 10,000 for the first time since mid-2022, Portfolio adds.
According to Duna House, the increasing activity in the home market will definitely continue in the first quarter, as a result of home building subsidies and falling loan rates.
Customer interest remains strong, indicating a strong March as well, the agency added.
