I Bike Budapest: Cyclists to Rule Roads on Saturday 20 April - Expect Traffic Disruptions
The Hungarian Cyclists’ Club will hold its major spring I Bike Budapest bicycle parade on April 20, an event that usually attracts thousands of participants.

The organisers will use the event to promote 12 demands, including the further development of the Bubi bike-sharing network, safe access to the Chain Bridge for cyclists, speeding up suburban bicycle network developments, a complete main cycling network in the city centre, room for safe cycling on the Pest riverside road, Rákóczi út, and the Petőfi and Szabadság bridges, as well as improved bicycle transport on public transport vehicles.

Those taking part in the parade will leave the Népliget park on Üllői út in Pest at 3 p.m., then cross over to Buda on the Petőfi bridge, from where they will proceed along the lower riverside road, then via Döbrentei tér and Attila út through the Tunnel and Chain Bridge to the Pest side and along Andrássy út to Heroes Square.
