"Shameful": 5-0 Defeat to Germany Kicks Off Nations League for Rossi’s Hungary
Hungary's head coach believes it was unacceptable that there was effectively only one team on the pitch in Düsseldorf after Germany scored their second goal in this opening Nations League fixture.

Rossi conceded that the first half of the match away in Germany was acceptable in terms of performance, but that Hungary's second-half display was nothing short of shameful:

"While there were some errors, we were still very much in the game with Germany in the first half and what we achieved wasn't bad," Hungary's head coach admitted. "We then switched to a more pressing-style of play, but there still remained space between the lines and the Germans exploited this.

It's pointless saying anything about the second half, because if a team conceded four goals in less than one half without any kind of reaction, that says everything about them. Five-nil is a shameful result and everyone should be ashamed of themselves for that second half. To a man, we failed to win a single 50/50 after the half-time break and there were several lamentable concessions of possession; we effectively disappeared from the pitch, which is unacceptable while wearing Hungary's colours.

The match against Bosnia follows next in three days' time, a game which will have a psychological aspect to it too, but if we can't react to this situation, our place would not be at this level
."
