Should the European Union force Hungary to accept illegal migrants, Hungary will offer to transport them to Brussels once the procedure is completed, a state secretary of the interior ministry told a press conference.
Complying with the decision of the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) on migration policy would be tantamount to scrapping border protection "and the country would be full of wandering migrants", the prime minister's security advisor told public news channel M1.
Brussels is “punishing” Hungary because it is protecting its border, Barna Pál Zsigmond, a state secretary of the European Union affairs ministry, said on Facebook.
Tamás Deutsch, the head of ruling' Fidesz's European parliamentary delegation, has called on the European Commission to "take immediate steps to counter Ukraine's blackmail" of Hungary and Slovakia.
