Home Insurance Premiums in Hungary up 19%, avg HUF 64,800 in Q3

Annual home insurance premiums in Hungary averaged HUF 64,800 in the third quarter, data published by the National Bank of Hungary (NBH) show.

The average premium rose 19pc from the same period a year earlier.

The average premium for polices the NBH has certified "consumer friendly" fell 22pc to HUF 50,800.

There were 2,489,000 home insurance policies in force during the period.
