Suburban Home Prices Climb Around Budapest
The average price of homes in the suburbs around the capital rose 10pc to HUF 652,000/sqm in 2024, listed real estate broker Duna House said.

Demand for homes in areas south of the capital, such as Délegyháza, Érd, Sóskút and Százhalombatta, was the highest, with prices increasing 14pc to HUF 672,000/sqm.

Home prices were highest, averaging HUF 735,000/sqm, in areas west of the capital.

Around 37pc of homebuyers in the suburbs last year were seeking bigger accommodations, while 23pc were first-time buyers.
