Home Prices Climb Steeply in Hungary
Home prices in Hungary rose 18.6pc in November, listings site ingatlan.com said.  In the capital, home prices climbed 24.1pc.

In a month-on-month comparison, home prices edged up 0.5pc and were down 0.1pc in Budapest.

The median price for a resale homes in Budapest is close to HUF 1.4m/sqm. Central district V is the most expensive with a median price of over HUF 2m/sqm, followed by districts I and XII, with HUF 1.83m/sqm and HUF 1.78m/sqm, respectively.

In the most affordable districts XVII, XVIII, XX and XXIII, the median price is between HUF 800,000/sqm and HUF 981,000/sqm. In other major cities, the median listing price is HUF 997,000/sqm in Debrecen, HUF 952,000/sqm in Szeged and HUF 920,000/sqm in Gyor in early December.
