Former Chocolate Factory Becomes a Hotel in Hungary
The former Stühmer chocolate factory in Budapest’s Eighth District is being transformed into a four-star hotel by construction company Swietelsky Hungary based on the plans of architecture firm D55.

The Art Deco structure at Szentkirályi utca 8, built in 1928, was converted into an office building in 1996 and may reopen in the summer as a 94-room hotel.

The building is owned by You Are Hungary, a project company founded in December 2021, owned by You Hungarian Urban Projects, a company registered in Paris, website 24 reported in 2023.
