IT Fitness Test sees Participants from Hungary Score 47%
The IT Fitness Test 2024 assessed digital skills across Central Europe, revealing that Hungarian participants achieved an average score of 47%, trailing behind V4 peers.

Hungarians scored lower than participants in Slovakia (53%) and the Czech Republic (51%), according to business daily Világgazdaság.

The evaluation covered areas such as office applications, cybersecurity, and online collaboration tools.

The findings highlight the need for enhanced digital literacy in Hungary. Experts recommend incorporating practical digital skills training into educational curricula and providing continuous learning opportunities for adults.

Collaborative efforts among government agencies, academic institutions, and the private sector are essential to improve digital competencies and boost competitiveness in the digital economy.
