The lucky winner will be able to wear the Miss World Hungary crown for one year, and will have the opportunity to represent Hungary at the international Miss World final, it was announced at the competition's press conference in Budapest on Wednesday.

The beauty queen election will be broadcast by public media for the ninth time, and the new host couple of the live show will be Lili Rókusfalvy and Imre Fodor. 

As Imre Fodor revealed, anyone can watch the Magyarország Szépe - Miss World Hungary show on June 22 at 6:45 p.m. on the Duna channel.

The evening before the final, on June 21, the background show "The Queen's Journey" with Lili Rókusfalvy will also be shown on Duna. 

This program, which introduces the finalists, provides a glimpse into the most interesting and important moments and behind-the-scenes stories of the competition's preparation period - from the selection to the final.

According to Lili Rókusfalvy, the finalists will parade down the catwalk in four different outfits in the live broadcast - as viewers have become accustomed to. 

There will be no swimsuit parade in the national and international finals of Miss World this year either, instead the finalists will take to the stage in sportswear. This will be followed by the so-called creative tour, in which a different Hungarian fashion designer will create clothing compositions for each contestant - this time inspired by the color of the year, Mocha Mousse. 

Then the contestants will also walk down the catwalk in the national costume dreamed up by Millaas Fashion and in evening dresses by Orsolya Dachi, she added.

According to the hosts, after the finale, the votes of the jury members - including competition directors Cecília Rogán-Szendrei and Kata Sarka, and master hairdresser László Hajas - are summed up, the contestant with the most points will win the Miss World Hungary title and the opportunity to participate in the international final.

Those sitting in front of their TV screens can express their opinion through the public vote this year as well: 

You can vote for the candidate deemed the most beautiful by viewers via a basic phone number starting June 15th, the presenters announced.

The contestants spend the weeks before the live broadcast in a training camp, where they learn choreography and stage movement, among other things, and participate in communication and motivational presentations, said Imre Fodor.

The contestants also participate in 'sub-competitions':

Lili Rókusfalvy highlighted that the stakes in the Miss Fashion, Miss Natural Beauty, Miss Sport and Miss Talent sub-competitions are high, as based on the aggregate results, four girls will be forced to say goodbye, thus forming the final sixteen.

One of the most important missions of the Miss World competition, which has a history spanning over seventy years, is to raise awareness of social responsibility, both locally and internationally. 
"That is why, in the camp, the contestants present their chosen charity project in the Miss Charity sub-competition and vote for the most likeable initiative", emphasised Lili Rókusfalvy. 

She added that the winner of this competition will be presented and awarded during the live TV broadcast event.
