New Car Registrations in Hungary Rise in January-April

The number of new passenger car registrations in Hungary rose 3.8pc year-on-year to 43,700 in January-April, data compiled by the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA) show.
Hybrid electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles accounted for 56pc of sales, cars with petrol engines made up 24pc and vehicles with diesel engines 12pc. Fully-electric vehicles accounted for 7pc of sales.
Sales of battery electric vehicles rose 3.5pc to 3,100 during the period.
