Over 40% of Home Purchases in Budapest Made by Property Investors
Investors accounted for 43pc of home purchases in the capital in April, listed real estate broker Duna House said.

The rate climbed as high as 45pc in March, Duna House said.

Investors spent an average HUF 74.8m on a home in the capital, well over the HUF 66.4m spent by first-home buyers.

Home prices climb 12.5pc in April - Ingatlan.com

Home prices in Hungary rose 12.5pc year-on-year in April, listings site Ingatlan.com said on Tuesday.

In the capital, home prices rose 19pc.

Resale home prices averaged HUF 1,270,000/sqm in Budapest. In Debrecen, the country's second-biggest city, the average price for resale homes was HUF 937,000/sqm.

Prices averaged HUF 880,000/sqm in Szeged, HUF 844,000/sqm in Gyor and HUF 773,000/sqm in Pecs.
