Beatles Mini-Festival in Budapest, Kobuci Garden, 22 June
- 17 Jun 2025 7:15 AM

The event's main patron is Klaus Voormann, who has been a friend of the Beatles and their members since the early sixties.
The mini-festival, which will last from the afternoon until late in the evening, will focus on the Beatles' two legendary albums, Help!, which turns 60 this year, and Rubber Soul.
The opening and closing concert blocks of the host band, Bits Beatles Memorial Band, will feature the most popular songs from these albums, the organisers told MTI.
András Petruska and János Bárth will take the stage to perform an acoustic Beatles show titled Two of Us.
There will also be a Beatles quiz, the grand prize of which is an original Höfner violin-shaped bass guitar, once used by Paul McCartney.
The main patron of this year's meeting is 87-year-old German Klaus Voormann, a former member of the Beatles' circle of friends, artist, and musician who received a Grammy Award for the cover of the Revolver album.
Voormann met the Beatles in Hamburg in the early 1960s, before the band became famous. From the 1970s onwards, he played bass on several solo albums by John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr, and was also a member of the Plastic Ono Band and Manfred Mann.
This anniversary National Beatles Meeting will begin on Sunday, June 22 at 4 p.m.
Children under 10 years old can attend the event for free.
The programs will last until late in the evening; after the concerts, Beat Dj will spin Beatles records.
