Charity Concert by Budapest Police Choir to Support Children with Leukemia in Hungary
- 10 Feb 2025 7:01 AM

Tamás Tóth, president of the Broadway Arts and Cultural Association, told MTI that the concert will feature tunes from all genres, from world hits to dance songs and Hungarian musicals to more serious choral works.
Last year, the association organized a similar charity event centered around film soundtracks. At that time, they shared a total of one million forints to support the ZóNa Foundation, which helps police orphans, and the Tűzoltó Street Children's Clinic.
Tamás Tóth highlighted that this year they are supporting the work of an organization operating in the countryside, the Debrecen-based Leukemia Children's Foundation.
The association's president added that the concert at the end of February is the final program of a three-stage charity event.
They already donated part of the proceeds from their gala last October to the foundation, with which they helped families in difficult circumstances who had recovered from illness. In December, they organized an Advent charity gala, to which the affected children and their family members were invited and a visit was also organized for them at the Parliament Building.
The organizer highlighted that at the February 28 performance, in addition to the six soloists of the Broadway Stars Company, the thirty-member orchestra of the Emergency Police and the twenty-five-member choir of the Budapest Police Headquarters will present a cheerful and heartfelt musical cavalcade in the spirit of unity through humorous and uplifting songs.
Those interested can purchase tickets for the charity music concert on the jegy.hu website.
