Maksim Pianist Crossover Concert, Margaret Island Theatre Budapest, 14 July
Renowned for his electrifying performances and genre-defying style, virtuoso pianist Maksim Mrvica is currently the world’s most active crossover concert pianist. A winner of multiple prestigious international competitions and an MTV Music Award recipient, he has sold over five million albums across the globe.

Mrvica arrives in Hungary with his latest show, SEGMENTI, presented by invitation of the Margaret Island Theatre. He will be joined on stage by a dynamic live band, featuring strings, percussion, and wind instruments, all enhanced by spectacular lighting and immersive video projections for a truly unforgettable evening.

A child prodigy, Maksim showed exceptional musical promise early on. After winning first prize at Croatia’s national piano competition and the Rubinstein Piano Competition in France, he pursued advanced studies at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest and the Alexander Scriabin Conservatoire in Paris.

Beyond his musical achievements, Maksim is also a style icon. He has worked with fashion powerhouses such as Dolce & Gabbana, Armani, and Christian Dior, and was named Best-Dressed Man by Vogue Homme. His charisma has led to collaborations with global brands including American Express, BMW, Samsung, Star Alliance, and Yamaha.

Maksim’s signature style dissolves the boundaries between genres — seamlessly blending classical masterpieces with film scores, pop, and electronic music. His innovative approach has earned him partnerships with major labels like EMI, Sony, and Universal.

“We need to find a way to introduce classical music to younger audiences—otherwise, one day there will be no one left to carry this tradition forward.” – Maksim Mrvica

Known for infusing classical compositions with electronic elements, Maksim is a bold advocate for reimagining tradition. His work proves that innovation is not only possible within classical music—it’s essential for its future.
