The initiative will support three exceptionally talented students for 10 months. The aim is to ease students’ financial burdens while providing them with valuable practical experience through participation in B+N’s projects.
Starting in September, the new scholarship programme at Óbuda University will assist three talented students in their academic and professional development. With operations in nine countries and facility management services provided across twelve, supporting talented young people and ensuring the next generation of skilled professionals are key pillars of the B+N Group’s strategy.
Supporting the Professionals of Tomorrow
The joint scholarship program between the company, with over 30 years of professional experience, and Óbuda University aims to alleviate the financial burden of three talented students, enabling them to gain practical professional experience in the company’s international projects.
The announcement also highlights that within the framework of the scholarship programme, two business IT students and one technical manager will receive a monthly grant of HUF 150,000 for 10 months.
In addition, during the program, they can actively participate in B+N’s work processes and, after successfully graduating, can apply for jobs at the company in a facilitated interview. This way, young people can not only base their studies, but also their long-term professional career by winning the scholarship.
Applicants can compete for the scholarship by preparing a research project focusing on sustainability and innovation. To successfully complete the programme, students must achieve at least an 80% evaluation for their research and maintain a minimum academic average of 4.0.
“At B+N Group, we have believed in the importance of nurturing talent since the very beginning. We support the professional development of our colleagues through various training programmes, whether they are entry-level workers or senior managers.
This scholarship programme is part of this broader initiative — helping talented young people with their studies while giving them the opportunity to strengthen their professional skills in practice within an international company,” said Ferenc Kis-Szölgyémi, CEO and owner of B+N Referencia Zrt.
Bridging Education and Industry
“At Óbuda University, it is of paramount importance that our students not only gain theoretical knowledge but also acquire practical experience that can be directly applied in the job market.
The joint scholarship programme with B+N Group is an excellent example of how education and industry can be connected to provide opportunities that support both academic success and professional development.
We are proud to open new pathways for our students together with our partners, contributing to their careers and to the long-term growth of the Hungarian economy,” emphasised Professor Dr Levente Kovács, Rector of Óbuda University.
