Introducing PX XO – the latest expression that’s already a fan favourite.

If you're a rum lover, you may have spotted a familiar bottle with a new name on it. What was once Plantation Rum is now known as Planteray Rum - but don’t worry: the name is new, the rum inside is exactly the same.

The rebranding is part of the brand’s evolution, moving away from historic associations while honouring its Caribbean roots. The new name, Planteray, evokes sunny sugarcane fields and warm island breezes—an homage to the terroir and people who make this rum what it is.

A True Favourite

One of the most loved bottles in the Planteray range is XO 20th Anniversary. This award-winning blend of Barbados rums is double-aged - first in the Caribbean, then again in France in ex-cognac casks. This blend has a beautifully rounded profile with notes of ripe banana, coconut, vanilla, and baking spices.

Taking Indulgence to the Next Level

For those seeking even more richness, PX XO is Planteray’s latest innovation. It shares the same Barbadian base as Planteray XO but gets an extra layer of decadence from ageing in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks—barrels known for their rich, sweet character.

The new creation has a fuller, deeper profile with bold notes of raisin, fig, roasted nuts, dark chocolate, and caramel. It’s a luxurious sip best enjoyed neat and slowly.
